Bruschetta with tomatoes and garlic

Italian toast is called bruschetta, and we are most familiar with the one made with baked bread, fresh tomatoes and garlic. They are ideal for breakfast or a snack, and can be prepared for unexpected guests, because they are made quickly and easily. Imagine that taste, a crunchy bite, juicy tomato with the smell of garlic and olive, and thyme on top ... and white wine, chilled ... What a beauty!

Bruschetta with tomatoes and garlic

Ingredients:

  • Wholemeal bread or French baguette
  • cherry tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh thyme

Preparation:

Cut the bread into thin slices. Arrange them on a baking sheet. Fry the tomatoes with finely chopped garlic in olive oil and add fresh thyme. Add salt. Coat each piece of bread with the mixture and bake in the upper level of the oven for 20 minutes. The bruschettas are served hot.
