Donuts with apples

Donuts like apples- squashy and soft, with apple filling and cinnamon baked in the oven...❤

Today I am dough- inspired to make art. I made a decision. I try to avoid the mundane and boring. Since I decided to make donuts, let them be different both in taste and in appearance.

I saw the recipe in a food magazine. At home I have an entire cupboard with cookbooks, magazines, brochures, in various languages, I am insatiable when it comes to cooking literature. Wherever I go, I pick up a cookbook with the national dishes of the country. It is quite the feeling when you can sit down and go through your cookbook page by page. I also mark the pages of the dishes I plan to make, especially those with appealing photographs. I enjoy that. I read - Donuts from the oven. Ok, I want to try this. We usually like those with a central hole, but I decided to make something new and different. And I succeeded. I made them perfect. Both very delicious and very beautiful to the eye. Like true apples.

Donuts with apples

Ingredients:

  • 500g flour
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 60ml melted butter
  • 1 egg

 

Filling:
  • 3 grated fresh apples
  • Cinnamon

Preparation:

Knead the dough with the previously grown yeast in 100ml. milk with sugar and leave to soak for 1 hour. Roll the dough and cut circles with a glass. Put the filling and fold the ends in the shape of a ball (see picture), then put in greased muffin tins, and let them rise again. Grease with oil and put a crispy breadstick (grissini) in the middle. Bake at 180 C for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
