Homemade bread from a bag

We talk with Karina. You like a mother talking to her daughter, like I talk to my mother, like my mother talked to my grandmother, about all and nothing. Today it occurred to me to ask her about the things she can cook by herself. She is 14 years old, she is very smart, she speaks 5 languages. She started listing the things she can prepare on her own. I asked her if she knew how to make bread. At first it seemed a very difficult task, but I convinced her that I found a recipe about an easy-to-make loaf, and that I believed she could make it by herself.

Somehow she saw it as a challenge. She was all set to try it out.

Our task as parents is to motivate our children, to support them in their desires and dreams and to believe in them.

She did it! For the first time Karina made homemade bread. I did not help her at all. I only said the most important thing: follow the recipe and believe in yourself.

Recipe for bread in a bag, yes yes a bag, the one you use to freeze items in the freezer..😄It is important not to knead!

I think I will patent this recipe. It is so easy, one can use different types of flour. One can add flaxseed, pumpkin seeds, sunflower, chia seed ...

Homemade bread from a bag

Ingredients:

  • 360 gr. flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 3 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 7 gr. dry yeast
  • 12,5 gr. sugar
  • 6 gr. salt

Preparation:

Heat 250 ml of milk with 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil and bring to boil. Pour it into a plastic bag, mine was 3 litres. Mix the rest in the bag with the liquid: 7 g. dry yeast, 12.5 g sugar, 6 g salt and add half the amount of flour. Seal the bag or tie it and mix everything together. Add the rest of the flour. We used half whole-wheat, half white flour. A total of 360 grams of flour is needed. Take the dough out of the bag and knead it on a floured surface to form a ball. Leave the dough covered with a cloth for 10 minutes. Stretch into a rectangle and roll into a loaf. Place in a greased and floured mould and cook for 1 hour. Bake the bread at 190 degrees for about 25-30 minutes.
