Grissini with fresh rosemary

I planted rosemary in my yard. It is a very resistant plant, it grows fast, it does not require much attention, I even forget to water it. The smell is so fresh, Mediterranean. I use it very often in recipes. Today I was thinking of a snack ... with the smell of fresh rosemary and sea salt. I smell the sea.

Grissini with fresh rosemary

Ingredients:

  • 250g flour
  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons fresh finely chopped rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 130ml hot water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation:

Mix the flour with the yeast, add the sugar, salt, rosemary, pepper, hot water. Knead the dough and form a ball, coated with olive oil, leave it to rise for 45 minutes. Cut into 4 parts, and each part into 8 pieces. Each piece is rolled into grissini (breadsticks) the size of 15 cm. Arrange on baking paper in a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
